Clear and secure communication is a core part of working on Yumi42. To keep everything organized and protect both sides, communication should happen primarily through the Yumi42 chat.
Why you should use Yumi42 chat
Clarity: All messages and booking context stay in one place. Nothing disappears in email threads.
Confidentiality: The chat is encrypted in transit and protected according to industry standards. Yumi42 does not routinely access chat content. In rare cases access is technically possible and only used for clearly defined reasons for example to investigate abuse, security incidents or when required by law as described in our privacy policy.
Context: Messages are linked to the relevant booking, which reduces misunderstandings and back-and-forth.
When chats are active
As soon as a customer books an intro call or paid coaching with you, a chat between you is automatically activated.
The chat remains available throughout the active collaboration.
7 days after the intro call or the last paid session, the chat is automatically deactivated.

Respond in a timely and professional way.
Use the chat for practical coordination (timing, preparation, goals, pre-session questions).
Set expectations and boundaries clearly but respectfully.
Share short follow-ups or useful materials when they help the customer.
Keep communication friendly, concrete and solution-oriented.
Don’ts
No spamming or repeated follow-ups without a real reason.
No advertising of unrelated products or services.
No pressure tactics to push customers into booking.
No insulting, discriminatory or boundary-crossing content.
Do not share sensitive payment or verification data in chat
(for example ID documents or bank details). Stripe and the platform handle this.
