Yumi42 is a curated marketplace. To keep coaching reliable for customers and fair for coaches, there are clear rules and quality standards. They protect you, your customers and the platform.
1. Core principles
You coach independently. Yumi42 only provides the platform.
Coaching on Yumi42 is not psychotherapy or a medical treatment. You must communicate this clearly to customers.
You comply with all relevant laws in your country (business licensing, taxes, consumer protection, professional regulations).
2. Quality standards for your services
Truthful profile
Your specializations, qualifications, experience, prices and offers must be accurate and kept up to date.
Clear expectations
Explain realistically what customers can expect from working with you and where your boundaries are.
Professional delivery
You show up on time, prepared and in the agreed format. Cancellation and no-show details are covered in separate articles.
Clean platform flow
Bookings, payments and scheduling happen through Yumi42. Taking customers off-platform to avoid fees is not allowed. Full details are in “Supporting customers outside Yumi42”.
3. Communication and behavior
Respect and safety
No discriminatory, insulting, abusive or illegal content or behavior.
No spam or pressure
No repeated follow-ups without reason and no aggressive sales or manipulation.
Coaching focus
Do not promote unrelated products or services during coaching.
Confidentiality
Session content and customer data stay private. Do not share them with third parties.
4. Recording and data protection
No recording without consent
You may only record or document sessions if all involved people explicitly consent beforehand and the function is activated for that session.
No sensitive data in chat
Do not share ID documents, bank details or similar data in chat. Stripe and the platform handle verification and payments.
5. Allowed and disallowed topics
Yumi42 supports coaching in clearly defined categories. Topics that are legally or ethically problematic are excluded. The full list is in “Which topics are allowed on Yumi42 and which are not?”.
6. What happens if rules are broken
If standards are violated, Yumi42 may take actions such as:
notice or warning
reduced profile visibility
temporary suspension
account termination for serious or repeated violations
