To be bookable on Yumi42, you need two things: bookable availability inside Yumi42 and optionally a calendar connection so conflicts are blocked automatically and bookings are added to your calendar.
1. Set availability on Yumi42
You can find this under “Availability”.
How to do it:
Select your timezone
Choose your main timezone in the dropdown at the top. (Full timezone and sync details are covered in the next article.)
Activate weekdays
Switch on the days you want to be generally bookable.
Add time slots
Click “+” on each day and define your slots (for example 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00).
Save
Your time slots are now visible and bookable for customers.
2. Use date overrides (for exceptions)
If your availability changes on specific days (travel, vacation, special events):
click “Add an override” on the right
pick the date and set the new times
save
Overrides apply only to that date. Your weekly schedule stays unchanged.
3. Connect your calendar (Google or Outlook)
Under “Check for conflicts” you can link your calendars.
Why this helps:
Yumi42 automatically blocks times where you already have events
new Yumi42 bookings are added to your calendar
How to connect:
click “Add” under “Check for conflicts”
choose Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar
grant access
select which calendars should be checked for conflicts
You can connect multiple calendars. If any of them contains an event, the matching slot will be blocked on Yumi42.
4. What happens after connecting
Once your calendar is linked:
customers only see real free slots
confirmed bookings are added to your calendar automatically
the event includes the Yumi42 session link (Google Meet)
You can change or remove the connection anytime without losing existing bookings.
In short
Set your weekly availability, use overrides for exceptions and connect Google or Outlook so Yumi42 blocks conflicts and adds bookings to your calendar automatically.
