Intro calls and paid bookings: how it works

Updated over 4 months ago

On Yumi42, customers can book either a free intro call or a paid session or program. The flow is almost the same for both, with payment being the only difference.

1. What is an intro call?

An intro call is a free get-to-know-you conversation you can offer optionally. Customers use it to quickly check whether your style and expertise are the right fit.

If you enable intro calls:

  • “Free Introductory Call” appears as a separate offer on your profile

  • customers can book it directly in your calendar

2. What is a paid booking?

Paid bookings include:

  • single sessions

  • journeys (packages of multiple sessions)

  • signature journeys

Customers book these directly through your calendar and pay during the booking flow on Yumi42.

3. Booking flow (intro or paid)

Every booking follows this sequence:

  • customer selects an offer

  • customer picks a free slot from your calendar

  • for paid bookings, payment is completed through Yumi42

  • the booking is confirmed

  • Yumi42 automatically creates a free Google Meet link

  • the appointment shows up in your coach dashboard

  • the appointment is added to your connected calendar automatically

4. Where you can always check everything

You can review all booking details anytime in your dashboard under “Bookings”:

  • Upcoming: all upcoming sessions

  • History: past sessions

  • Cancelled: cancelled sessions

You will see date, time, offer, customer name and the session link there.

5. Email confirmations and reminders

In addition to the dashboard, Yumi42 notifies both you and the customer by email:

  • instant booking confirmation

  • automatic reminders before the session

  • updates for important status changes

So you do not need to track appointments manually.

In short

Intro calls are optional and free, paid bookings include payment through Yumi42. In both cases customers book directly into your calendar, you see everything in your dashboard and you receive all key information plus reminders by email.
