To go live on Yumi42 and be bookable, you need to connect Stripe Connect and complete verification (KYC). This is a legal standard for payment processing and protects you, customers and the platform.
Why Stripe Connect and KYC are required
Without a verified Stripe account, Yumi42 cannot:
publish your profile
enable paid bookings
process payouts to you
Stripe is the payment provider. KYC is the identity verification Stripe requires from all coaches.
Step by step
1. Start Stripe Connect
In the coach area, open “Connect Stripe”
Click “Set up Stripe Connect”
You will be redirected to Stripe
2. Create or connect your Stripe account
If you don’t have a Stripe account yet, create one there
If you already use Stripe, you can connect your existing account
3. Complete KYC verification
Depending on your country, Stripe will request different details. Typically this includes:
personal details (name, date of birth, address)
an ID document (for example passport or national ID)
if needed, proof of address or business information
4. Check your status
After finishing, you will see your verification status in the coach area.
Once Stripe shows “verified,” your profile can go live.
Common issues and what to do
Verification is stuck or rejected
make sure your name and address match your ID exactly
upload a clear, complete document
don’t use screenshots or cropped photos
Missing or incorrect data
Stripe always shows what is still required
update the missing fields directly in Stripe, not in your Yumi42 profile
It's ok if your Stripe account uses a different email, as long as the account belongs to you and is verified.

Yumi42 cannot access your ID documents or sensitive Stripe data
Verification is required to publish your profile and is monitored by Stripe over time
You can update your Stripe details later if something changes
