Preparation for your session: How to get the most out of it

A short preparation makes a real difference. Here are a few simple things you can do before your session:

  • Think about your topic — what do you want to work on? What would a useful outcome look like for you?

  • Find a quiet space — somewhere you can talk openly without interruptions.

  • Test your tech — check that your camera and microphone work. Open the meeting link a few minutes early to settle in.

  • Be open — coaching works best when you bring honest questions, not just topics you feel comfortable with.

Your coach will guide the session structure. You do not need to prepare anything formal unless they ask you to.
